Mr Roulet's books provides a complete and very well illustrated panorama of all variants of this series of trucks, but I can add one more that is not mentioned, that I saw on the very first models produced, those fitted with all-mazac wheels (at this time I saw this variant on two 25I trucks an on one 25H flat truck).
This variants concerns the tin baseplate, which has the lettering readable with the front of the truck upside. All other subsequent models examined (over 100 so far…) have the lettering readable with the front of the truck downside.
The supports near the rear axle are also different from the current models
Dear friends collectors, let's examine the baseplates of your own FORD trucks and keep me informed on your possible discoveries !
