DINKY GB produced between 1963 and 1966 the TRIUMPH VITESSE. This car was a common sight on British roads during the 60s. This model was then produced by NICKY TOYS very awful versions (fitted with toooo small wheels !) but these cost nowadays five to ten times the price of an original model...
Following the advice of my friend JP, I bought in 1997 (wow ! 25 years ago !!!) at the Grenoble's swapmeet (RIP !) an "intermediate model" produced in India, but bearing the DINKY TOYS brand, as can be seen on the baseplate. The car is painted in black with white strips on the sides. The seats are white. The box, though bought together with the model, seems to be a normal one, as it doesn't bear any mark related with the far origin of the model.
The MADE IN INDIA version of the Triumph Vitesse.
The baseplate can be compared with this one of an english model
