 Where are these drawings ?

I am the (proud) owner of the 14 original factory drawings highlightened in yellow on the previous table. All of them are small format drawings (about 23x30 cm). I bought 6 of them in 2012 from Mr Jos S. (NL) who had bought them form the Christies M&S Richardsons collection sale during the 90s, and 8 other at the beginning of 2016 from Mr Lee W. (GB) who bought them around 10 years earlier with a collection, those drawings also issued from M&S Richardsons collection.

The 13131 and 13132 drawings are in the Mr Jan Werner's (NL) collection, who wrote an article about the never produced BEDFORD tanker in MODEL COLLECTOR. He has built three very nice prototypes of this tanker.

The 12979 drawing is also in a collection in the Netherlands, remained unsold in an eBay auction in 2013. My offer was declined. It is also a drawing issued from M&S Richardson collection, as the apparent defaults and tears correspond exactly to the reproductions I had previously seen.

 I am looking to buy original factory drawings.

I never saw any drawing of the PULLMORE car transporter. The above drawings list (established using the data of M&S Richardsons book) doesn't quote all the drawings related to this model. You can notice that the drawings of the both main parts of the trailer and the assembly drawing are missing from this list. The prototype of the trailer fetched £179 at a Bonhams auction on november 23rd, 2004 (lot 429). The trailer produced by TEKNO being very close to DINKY TOYS trailer, is it possible that the drawings were sold to TEKNO ?

The 14 drawings I could buy in 2012 and 2016 helped me for the 

What you can notice on the drawings :

• The MADE IN ENGLAND lettering added under the chassis in january 1953.

• The deleting of the black paint on the rear mudguards of the articulated truck in january 1953.

• The removing of the "20" decal on the articulated truck in july 1957.

• The replacement of smooth tyres by treaded tyres in april 1958.

• The adding of glazing : the glazings drawing (12839) was designed in december 1959, and the assembly drawings were changed in january 1960. The glazing was not added on the 25W truck. The glazings drawings quotes two drawings references missing in the list. I suppose that these are the assembly drawings of the articulated truck and of the car transporter.

• The replacement of the ridged hubs by plastic hubs on the refuse wagon in november 1961.

• A "20" decal was planned to be applied on the tailgate of the 25M tipper (circle on the 12843 drawing) but this never came into production

• The changes of the bush at the base of the spiral of the lifting mechanism (changes of the drawing dated 25/8/48 and 10/1/49, concerning the very fits unicolor versions of the tipper and the very first refuse wagons). All the other models have been fitted with a big diameter and chamfer bush.

• The stengthening of the refuse wagon tailgate hinge. I never saw the previous version on any model. According to the date of the change, this change could have occurred before the beginning of the production.

• The change of the thickness of the base and articulation part of the refuse collector. This change is unnoticeable on the models.

What you can not notice on the drawings :

• The two different versions of the chassis moulding

• The modification of the front axle support binding to the wheel arch

• The change of the tank moulding

• The replacement of the ridged hubs by plastic hubs on the tipper

Something odd noticed on the 12977 drawing : the inner part holding the sliding doors of the refuse wagon seems to have been chromed steel during all the production, but the drawing bears : FINISH : BARREL BLACK
